One of the most interesting elements is the grumpy grandmother, who periodically makes negative comments that transcend the narrative and interrupt the action. The grandmother complains about the poor author, unattractive language, the inappropriate topic, and the characters' bad behavior. This creates a contrast between the grandmother's "stiff" approach to literature and parenting and the authors' "rebellious" vision.”
